My visit lasted about 45 minutes that included photography, viewing the complete park and talking with an eldr Cherokee male who might have been park of the mowing crew however he was wearing a good set of pants, not for mowing. I parked in the visitor center's lot.The park is is small with most people having a quick visit with I being the only visitor. from the Cherokee Visitor Center.There is no parking lot. The memorial is located across Tsali Blvd. During my visit a work crew of four Cherokee workers first trimmed & then completely mowed the grass, they an excellent job.
